I can't believe this! Almost a whole freakin' year has gone by since my last journal entry. What have I been up to? Well, between computer crashes, computer crashes again, and internet problems galore, I've just been merrily updating my Flying Ferret website. I've got another kid on the way (the last).
Not much to say. Working on some game art for a friend. Hopefully, I'll have that up in time. I want to try some different methods than I usually use to create it. I don't think I've tapped the full potential of Photoshop or my pen tablet. No, not by a long shot.
Thanks very much for that comment. I would love to do just that if not for my overload of before-school work and combined lazyness. *_* Since I havent done ANYTHING on here for a while, I think I might try that! ^_^
There are some amazing artists here. It's going to take me a long time to get through a lot of them. So many of them are so young. I wish I was that good at that age. Hell, I wish I was that good NOW.
Anyway, I do draw a lot. More cartoon style than anything. I always wanted to draw comic books, but I was continually rejected by DC, Marvel... even Image. You can image what that was doing to the ego of a rather shy kid. Thankfully, I let it slide off my back. I know I could still improve, and I continual to improve---even at 37!!! Always room for improvement.
But, the style I draw is MY style. That's all that matters. Some one will always be better than you (or at least you think they might be), but there is only your style.
